Pop-up advertising has become a popular online media and has gained popularity over the years because of its inherent ability to attract one’s attention. Initially when the pop-ads were new to the online media, people looked on it in awe. However, now the web surfers hate this from of advertising, because it disturbs their work. There are times when the pop-up windows pop-up for every page you open in the same website. This created resentment among the surfers as they were tired of closing every window that pops-up.

Pop-up advertising was once considered as the revolutionary form of advertising that was used to connect the buyers with sellers. Initially the pop-up advertising was a huge success. Today, it is sort of dying because there are too many website owners who are using this form of advertisement. Online advertising has its own ups and down like the advertisements in the print and the broadcasting media. However, the e-commerce web sites and the other business houses prefer online marketing because it is cheap and reaches the targeted group of people without any delay.
